8GB Silver Nano

8GB Silver Nano

The 8GB Silver Nano with a brand new design and great new features.

This model is also available as an 16GB Silver Nano.

Feel the curved, all-aluminum and glass design and you won't want to put the Silver Nano down. With these great looks and brains, too.

The new Genius feature of the 8GB Silver Nano turns the iPod into your very own personal DJ. It can build up automatic playlist by searching your music library that go good together. If you'd rather be a bit more spontaneous, just give your iPod a shake to switch to shuffle mode.

How much time do you spend searching for your favourite music tracks? Now it's even easier since you can view all your album art in Cover Flow mode so you can browse and select tracks and albums based on a full colour display. Alternatively, you can push and hold the Center button like normal on any iPod to go through your albums and songs. Once you've found the song you want, simply press the Center button again to add it to the playlist you're currently listening to.

8GB Silver Nano Podcasts

Podcasts are usually free downloads that you get from the iTunes Store, these are video and auto Podcasts, this includes some rock favorites and offerings from such big names as ABC News, Comedy Central, ESPN, PBS, NPR, and many more. You can even browse and subscribe to regular Podcasts and have them copied to your Silver Nano.

One great feature is being able to hook up your iPod Nano to a TV using an optional Apple component or composite AV cable.

Photos on the Silver Nano

You can look at your photos in a slide show on your Silver Nano, combined with cool transition effects and not forgetting your music! With an optional Apple component or composite AV cable you can even watch your slideshows on a TV.

Just like the 8GB Silver Video Nano, this version can hold upto 7,000 photos which you can download from your PC or Mac via the iTunes program. Simply use the Click Wheel to browse your picture thumbnails, clicking the centre button will show the images in fullscreen mode.
